waking to gentle blossoms

this is the story of a girl-child born abroad in places warm and tepid, but who has now found herself in a land of green. she rises as if from golden cracked dreams to a world of blossoms and fainting leaves. the scents become a mist in her head and she feels sleepy, yet oddly alert. she thinks herself in a faerieland as the plants curl around her hazy head and pull her into a flower slumber.

thank you to my friend, kelsey for modelling in my mother's garden and my grandfather's field.
